10,000 rainbow trout stocked in Lake Ogallala

LINCOLN, Neb. – Lake Ogallala’s trout fishery has been enhanced with the stocking of 10,000 rainbow trout by the Rock Creek State Fish Hatchery from April 4-15. In addition, the Grove Trout Rearing Station completed a second spring stocking April 16 at Columbus’ Pawnee Park West Lake, Norfolk’s TaHaZouka Park Lake, and West Point’s Neligh Park Pond. Papillion’s Lake Halleck among waters stocked with trout

LINCOLN, Neb. – Rainbow trout continue to be stocked in Nebraska’s urban waters to enhance spring fishing opportunities. The Grove Trout Rearing Station earlier this week stocked 1,200 trout in Papillion’s Lake Halleck and 1,200 in Nebraska City’s Steinhart Park East Pond. Four southeast urban lakes stocked with rainbow trout

LINCOLN, Neb. – Four urban lakes in southeast Nebraska were stocked with rainbow trout April 2. The Grove Trout Rearing Station in Antelope County stocked the following lakes: Humboldt City Park Lake, 350 trout; Auburn Rotary Club Lake, 800; Stanton Lake, Falls City, 200; and Pawnee City Pond, 300.
