LINCOLN – Make a gingerbread house, take a holiday hayrack ride or search for the yule log at Platte River State Park (SP) this weekend. Special Deer Hunts at Mahoney SP, Platte River SP, Schramm Park SRA

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is offering special antlerless deer hunting opportunities within Eugene T. Mahoney and Platte River state parks (SP), as well as Schramm Park State Recreation Area (SRA). Successful applicants will be issued a special access permit that allows them to hunt antlerless deer in designated areas of a park on designated dates, using specific equipment. LINCOLN, Neb. – The Family Rendezvous and Muzzleloader Sight-In will be Oct. 13 at the Roger G. Sykes Outdoor Heritage Education Complex at Platte River State Park near Louisville. On the Platte Close to Home

A Mega Meeting

Yesterday, we had one our Southeast Regional/District Mega Meetings of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission at Platte River State Park’s Mallet Lodge near Louisville. Monthly meetings (some with work integration) are held within each of the four districts the agency has.
