Paddlefish snagging permits accepted through July 14

LINCOLN, Neb. – Applications for paddlefish snagging permits are being accepted by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission through July 14. Drawing results will be available by July 20. Any permits remaining following the drawing will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Aug. 17 at 1 p.m. Central time. Applications began at 1 p.m. CT on July 1. Multispecies lottery permit applications accepted beginning Jan. 2

LINCOLN, Neb. – Applications for multispecies Super Tag and Combo lottery permits will be accepted by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission beginning Jan. 2. The Super Tag lottery permit will be valid for one elk of either sex, one antelope of either sex, one deer of either sex, and two turkeys (only toms and bearded hens may be taken in the spring). Mountain Lion Application Period Begins Sept. 3

LINCOLN, Neb. – The application period for mountain lion hunting permits in the Pine Ridge Unit is Sept. 3-30. The first person drawn from applications for the Pine Ridge Unit will be issued a permit to harvest a mountain lion during Season 1 or Season 2. The next 100 persons drawn will be issued permits for Season 2. Season 1 is Jan. 1-Feb. 14, and Season 2 is Feb. 15-March 31. The application fee is $15. Apply at Nebraska Game …
