LINCOLN, Neb. – Improvements at Pawnee State Recreation Area are just some of the upgrades guests at southeastern Nebraska state park areas will find this spring. The enhancements at Pawnee include electrical upgrade to 50-amp service at several campsites in the Lakeview Campground and the Area 3 Campground. Pawnee electric campsites to get upgrade, expect closures

LINCOLN, Neb. — Pawnee State Recreation Area campground is getting an electrical upgrade, causing potential modern campsite closures through November. The update is being made to 44 sites so each will be available for 50-, 30- and 20-amp service. The upgrade is expected to be completed by the end of November. LINCOLN, Neb. – Visitors to six state recreation areas will be allowed to touch off fireworks on Independence Day, according to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. Those visitors should always use caution when lighting fireworks. Visitors to Pawnee SRA advised of road construction

LINCOLN, Neb. – Those planning to visit Pawnee State Recreation Area (SRA) in Lancaster County should be aware of upcoming road construction. Portions of Northwest 126th Street on the west side of the lake will be closed beginning June 12 while a culvert is replaced. Construction is expected to take approximately one week.
