LINCOLN, Neb. – Applications for an auxiliary mountain lion hunting season will be accepted by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission from March 1-6. Up to four permits will be drawn for the auxiliary season in the North Subunit of Nebraska’s Pine Ridge, which is March 15-31. LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will hold a public hearing on June 22 in Ogallala regarding a proposed 2019 mountain lion season. The meeting will take place at the Mid-Plains Community College Conference Room, 512 E. Mountain Lion Application Period Begins Sept. 3

LINCOLN, Neb. – The application period for mountain lion hunting permits in the Pine Ridge Unit is Sept. 3-30. The first person drawn from applications for the Pine Ridge Unit will be issued a permit to harvest a mountain lion during Season 1 or Season 2.
