Booo! … It’s the month when Halloween festivities and candy are aplenty. It’s the month when combines dot the rural landscape for the crop harvest. Game and Parks to host virtual pre-K program entitled Nature Tails

LINCOLN, Neb. – Nature Tails, a virtual six-week series for pre-K children and their parents and caregivers, will be hosted by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission every Tuesday starting Sept. 29. Each week, via Zoom, outdoor educators will read a nature-themed children’s book based on that week’s theme. There also will be an activity in which the children and their families can participate. Fall flowers are in full bloom in the wild places and in our gardens, the cicadas have ceased their droning in the trees while late nectaring bumble bees and butterflies are still active on fall favorites like asters, tall sedums and goldenrods.
