Repaving Project at Indian Cave State Park Continues

LINCOLN – The repaving of roads within Indian Cave State Park in southeast Nebraska continues. The road to Hackberry Hollow Campground has been finished. Currently, work is being done to the road to the Ash Grove Campground, the Cave road, and the boat ramp road. There is no access to the boat ramp at this time; however there is river access at nearby Brownville. Over Labor Day weekend, the Cave road will be temporarily open to allow access to the …

LINCOLN – Families who come to Indian Cave State Park on July 25 will have another chance to celebrate the holidays with the second annual Campfire Christmas in July. Repaving Has Begun at Indian Cave State Park

LINCOLN – The repaving of roads within Indian Cave State Park has begun. The roads to the boat ramp and cave are temporarily closed for repaving. All other areas of the park, including the campgrounds, are open. All of the roads, parking areas and campgrounds within the park will be repaved this year. On a sunny, but muggy, morning last June, six Game and Parks Commission and Northern Prairies Land Trust biologists gathered at Indian Cave State Park. LINCOLN – Embrace the holiday spirit early at Indian Cave State Park with Campfire Christmas in July. This all-day event on July 26 includes a craft fair, visit from Santa, campground decorating contest, horse-drawn rides and a screening of a movie at the outdoor amphitheater.
