Need to get a report up here today on the 2016 High School Bass Championship this past Saturday.  Here’s the bare bones: North Platte’s Pavelka, Rowland Repeat as State High School Fishing Champs LINCOLN – Grant Pavelka and Tyler Rowland of North Platte High School caught a five-fish limit weighing 15.85 pounds to capture the Nebraska High School Fishing Championship for the second year in a row. 2015 High School Bass Fishing Championship

This year’s high school bass fishing championship is in the books; time to give you my perspective.  Here is the news release: North Platte’s Pavelka, Rowland Win State High School Fishing Title LINCOLN – Grant Pavelka and Tyler Rowland of the North Platte Bass Bosses caught a five-fish limit weighing 9.86 pounds to capture the Nebraska High School Fishing Championship on July 25 at Lewis and Clark Lake near Crofton. High School Bass Fishing Regionals

If you remember back in July we held our Nebraska High School Bass Fishing Championship at Merritt Reservoir, 2014 High School Bass Fishing Championship .  Twenty-four teams from across Nebraska participated at that tournament and I believe the competitors did a very good job of catching fish.  At that time I told you that our top two teams could advance to the regional finals held this year on the Red River in Louisiana.  Our Nebraska teams have done very well at …

NE High School Anglers at Regional Bass Championship

At the FLW Southern Conference High School Bass Fishing Championship at Lake Texoma (with its 1,250 miles of shoreline) this Past Saturday, Payne Ahrens and Eric Soe of Gretna High School along with their boat caption, Cory Roll, had a great time and represented Nebraska and their hometown of Gretna well! 2013 High School Bass Fishing Championship

Last Saturday was the 2013 Nebraska High School Bass Fishing Championship.  I know there has been a lot of talk about this on the internet and elsewhere already; might as well add my perspective.
