I enjoyed a gorgeous, cool morning fishing in Nebraska’s Elkhorn River and backwater areas with a couple young family members of mine as well as a young family friend. I was a guest angler at my Brother-In-Law Dean’s neat, new place yesterday. This isn’t just any place. Discarded fishing equipment such as abandoned line, hooks, weights, etc. continues to be a major problem for the environment and a major threat to an array of wildlife in and around the water.
