Fish and Wildlife Convention Week

It’s been a very busy, but enjoyable and exciting week for us at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. We hosted and participated in the 2013 Annual Summer Meeting for the Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Association here in Omaha. Base camp for it was the Hilton Hotel in downtown Omaha. I have been invited to participate in Scheels First Annual Camo Classic golf tournament at Miracle Hills Golf and Tennis here in Omaha, NE. WOW! The organizers of this event have no idea what they’re in for with me playing golf! I haven’t played golf since high school.
