LINCOLN – The rehabilitation of the reservoir at Conestoga State Recreation Area is underway. The outlet structure will be modified in preparation for a project to improve aquatic habitat, water quality and angler access. Visitors can expect to encounter areas closed to public access near construction equipment and work areas. The reservoir has experienced the degrading effects of years of sedimentation and nutrient accumulation. LINCOLN – An upcoming aquatic habitat rehabilitation project at Conestoga Reservoir in Lancaster County requires the reservoir to be drawn down for construction. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has authorized fish salvage on the reservoir now until Jan. 1, 2015. The water level at the lake is down 4 feet and dropping. This salvage allows licensed anglers to utilize the remaining fish in the reservoir. Length limits are rescinded for the lake, but daily bag limits are maintained. Legal …

I have a couple, three news items about Nebraska reservoirs.  None of them are long but I need to get this information out. . . .
