Plenty of improvements in Nebraska’s state parks await visitors in central Nebraska this year. Projects completed in 2022 or to be finished in 2023 will appeal to an array of park users. The Thunder Bay and West Ridge campgrounds at Sherman Reservoir State Recreation Area near Loup City are closed temporarily because of construction. LINCOLN, Neb. — Louisville State Recreation Area campground is getting an electrical upgrade, causing potential electrical campsite closures into November. The update is being made to 27 sites in the Cut-Through Campground and Venture Lane Campsites so each will be available for 50-, 30- and 20-amp service.
