Super Tag, Combo Lottery Permit Winners Drawn

LINCOLN – Daniel Nelson, of Denton, and Jason Stephens, of North Platte, were drawn as lottery winners of two Super Tag multispecies big game permits. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission drew the names July 8. Cameron Sonnenfeld, of Ravenna, and William Ryden, of Julesburg, Colorado, were drawn as winners of the Combo multispecies big game permits. LINCOLN – Hunters and landowners are invited to discuss big game issues with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission at upcoming public informational meetings across the state. Commission biologists will explain issues and take questions on topics such as deer management, deer damage and depredation permits, antlerless harvest, trophy management, and diseases. Three New Multispecies Big Game Lottery Permits Available in 2014

LINCOLN – Three new multispecies big game hunting permits are authorized for 2014, according to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. Each of the three permit recipients will be drawn in a lottery. Those new permits are: — One Super Tag permit for residents or nonresidents. LINCOLN, Neb. – The first application period for big game hunting permits begins May 20 at 1 p.m. Central Time and runs through June 7. A summary of the application period: Deer – Residents and nonresidents may apply for one permit in any one draw unit. Elk Tag to Be Auctioned at Nebraska Big Game Society Dinner

LINCOLN, Neb. – A Nebraska resident bull elk tag will be auctioned off at the Nebraska Big Game Society annual meeting and dinner April 25 in Lincoln. The event is from 5-9 p.m. at Wilderness Ridge, 1800 Wilderness Woods Place. Other auction items include Canadian and Alaskan fishing trips and lifetime hunt/fish permit with habitat stamp.
