Submitted by Commissioner Lynn Berggren – Fall fishing has started to slow this past month. Reports from area lakes indicates anglers on the southwest reservoirs seem to be a struggling. White bass on Johnson Lake are still hitting when you can find the shad on top. On Elwood the wipers have really become tight-lipped. With no incoming water this year, fishing the bubble will be out. Grandson’s Impressive Fishing Highlights Wanahoo Weekend

New Information Technology Application Developer Position Goes to Schultz

Amy Kucera was recently named Associate Editor of NEBRASKAland magazine. Her duties will include researching, writing, and photographing for NEBRASKAland Magazine, Trail Tails Magazine and creating the NEBRASKAland Magazine assignment schedule with the editor.
