Lemmon Hired as Park Superintendent I at Fort Robinson

The State Parks Division has announced the appointment of Robert Lemmon to the Park Superintendent I position at Fort Robinson State Park.   Lemmon is not unfamiliar with Fort Robinson having grown up at the Park as a youngster and working there for many years as a student.  He began his career at the Fort as a temporary employee for several seasons while attending high school and college.

Riggins Assumes New Role as Southwest Reservoirs Park Superintendent III

Aric Riggins has accepted a new challenge in his career with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.  Riggns will be transitioning from his position at Buffalo Bill State Historical Park to the Southwest Reservoirs Park Superintendent III position. Riggins began his career with the Agency as Park Superintendent I at Buffalo Bill State Historical Park, September, 2000 and was promoted to lead Park Superintendent III position in November, 2011.

Darrell Mueller has been appointed the position of Park Superintendent II at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park.  Mueller lived in North Platte where he enjoyed a career for many years with the North Platte Park & Recreation Department as their Administrator.  Mueller is a militay veteran who served overseas in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Leprechaun Chase Gave the Luck of the Irish to the Lads this Year

Johnson Lake SRA Appoints Boyle as Park Superintendent III

Look for a new face among our staff members at Johnson Lake this summer.  Tim Boyle has been appointed  the position of Park Superintendent III at Johnson Lake State Recreation Area.  Boyle has worked for the Agency for more than 40 years and began his career with the Agency at Johnson Lake as a seasonal park maintenance staff member in 1971, while he attended school.   Boyle became permanent in 1972 with the Grand Island maintenance division and returned to Johnson …
