Bordeaux Survey

News release from last week:

Hunters, anglers should be aware of Bordeaux Creek WMA stream survey

LINCOLN, Neb. – Pine Ridge hunters and anglers should be aware of stream survey work on Bordeaux Creek Wildlife Management Area and U.S. Forest Service properties near Chadron during the week of Nov. 2.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will conduct the surveys to collect physical information to be used for the design and planning of the Bordeaux Creek stream restoration project. The project will improve in-stream habitat, floodplain connectivity and improve fishing and access for anglers.

For more information, contact Joe Rydell at 308-763-2940 or email at joe.rydell@nebraska.gov.

The survey work being done is going to be extensive.  Eventually, this work will result in a comprehensive stream restoration project.  That will make another improved stream I look forward to fishing again in a few years!  Cannot wait!
