LINCOLN, Neb. – Enjoy browsing through beautiful handcrafted art or begin your Christmas shopping early at the River Valley Artisans and Craft Market Nov. 2-3 at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park.
This event is a showcase for handmade items of various kinds. Vendors will show wood kitchenware, wood furniture, wood plaques, goat milk soap, handmade lotions and bath bombs, mixed media art, oil paintings, beef jerky, tea samples, glass art, metal art, sewing crafts, purses, mittens, scarves, jewelry and handmade wood turn pens.
Hours for the show are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Nov. 2 and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. the following day. On Nov. 2, visitors can also enjoy a $10 all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at the park restaurant, Caddy’s Parkside Grill, from 8-10 a.m. The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, coffee and soft drinks.
A park entry permit is required.
