Two fishing events at Lincoln’s Holmes Lake cancelled

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Community Fishing Night and Discover Catfish Fishing events scheduled for June 18 at Lincoln’s Holmes Lake have been cancelled because of the threat of thunderstorms.

The fishing events, which were planned for 6-8 p.m. and 8-10 p.m., respectively, will not be rescheduled this summer. The next Community Fishing Night event at Holmes Lake will be Aug. 1.
