Show your support for Fort Kearny Outdoor Expo Dec. 6

LINCOLN, Neb. – You have the opportunity to help families, youth and the public discover and enjoy outdoor recreation by supporting the Fort Kearny Outdoor Expo during the Give Where You Live fundraiser Dec. 6.

For 24 hours, donors may give to the Expo, a free annual event held at Fort Kearny State Recreation Area showcasing Nebraska’s vast outdoor opportunities. With more than 50 hands-on activities to try, including fishing, archery, kayaking, camping and outdoor cooking, the Expo allows people of all ages and skill levels to discover and learn about the outdoors. Those who attend can also see, touch and learn more about Nebraska fish and wildlife species from wildlife biologists.

More than 50,000 people have participated in the Fort Kearny Outdoor Expo over the past 12 years, including thousands of kids from local schools. With donations from supporters like you, the Expo continues to be a free event serving those in the Kearney area and across the state.

To give, visit givewhereyoulive.net and search “Fort Kearny Outdoor Expo.” You may also schedule a donation now; charges will be applied at the beginning of the event on Dec. 6. Learn more about the Expo at FortKearnyExpo.com, and mark your calendars for the next Expo on May 11.
