Governor Does Family Fishing Night!

We hosted a Family Fishing Night at Holmes Lake here in Lincoln last week, and Governor Ricketts was able to make it out!

Here are some pictures he shared on his FaceBook page, Governor Pete Ricketts.

Families fishing, what it is all about!

I had a family obligation of my own that evening, so I was not able to be there, but from what I heard everyone had a great time, including the governor!  And, I hear the bite was pretty good too!

I know the calendar says August and that means school is starting back up already.  But, we have some more Family Fishing Nights on the calendar, if you can make it to one, DO IT!  Bait and equipment is provided, so is some expertise if you need it.  Look for the Family Fishing trailer, you cannot miss it, anglers over the age of 16 will need a valid Nebraska fishing permit.  GO FISH!
