Get Your Sweetie Outdoors

February is the month for love and a great time to get you Sweetie outdoors.  So skip the dinner and a movie and head outdoors for a more exclusive and adventurous date. February in Nebraska provides a variety of novel date activities for any lover of the outdoors.

Turn an ordinary hike with your partner this month into a hunt for sheds dropped by deer, pronghorn antelope, or elk. February also provides adequate  weather for you and your significant other to brush-up on your archery and shotgun accuracy for the upcoming Spring Turkey season.

If you’re in the mood for a more relaxed outdoors experience, February is still a great month to cozy up by a warm fire and enjoy the comforts of the night sky. Try a change of scenery for your relaxing campfire by visiting one of the many Nebraska state parks offering cabin packages, such as Ponca State Park or Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area. While on your romantic cabin getaway, make sure to be on the lookout for migratory birds this month, too.

Whatever you and your partner decide to do on your next date this month, make it a day spent together in the outdoors.
