Feb. 4 – Beginner Archery Class, Wildcat Hills Shooting Sports Complex, Gering

Feb. 4-5, 11-12, 18-19, 25-26 – Eagle Viewing Days, Lake Ogallala State Recreation Area (SRA), Ogallala

Feb. 4-12 – White-fronted goose hunting season

Feb. 11 – Clear Shot Firearms Concealed Carry Class, Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Education Center, Lincoln

Feb. 11-12 – Birds and Breakfast, Ponca SP, Ponca

Feb. 12 – Cowboy Poetry and Music Jam, Bowring Ranch SHP, Merriman

Feb. 12 – Nature Journaling Walk, Lake McConaughy SRA, Ogallala

Feb. 12 – Shootout at Salt Creek, Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Education Center, Lincoln

Feb. 12 – Dark goose hunting season closes in East, Platte River, Panhandle and Niobrara units

Feb. 12 – Statewide light goose hunting season closes

Feb. 13 – Light Goose Conservation Order hunting begins

Feb. 14 – Valentine’s Dining, Platte River SP, Louisville

Feb. 19 – Try Muzzleloader, Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Education Center, Lincoln

Feb. 21-23 – Growing Up WILD educator workshop, Lincoln

Feb. 23-26 – Omaha Boat, Sport and Travel Show, CenturyLink Center, Omaha

Feb. 25 – Winter Bird Walk, Lake Ogallala SRA, Ogallala

Feb. 28 – Growing Up WILD workshop, Grand Island

Feb. 28 – Cottontail and jackrabbit hunting seasons close

Feb. 28 – Bobcat, raccoon, Virginia opossum, long-tailed weasel, mink, red fox, gray fox and badger hunting and trapping seasons close
