Motivation

If you need it, there are all kinds of books, videos, and speakers available today to help you get motivated.  Motivated to do what?  I do not know, I guess motivated to do whatever you want to do, whoever you want to be.

I want to catch big fish.

Nothing motivates me more than some pictures or better yet, videos. . . .

I know these videos have been present on the internet for at least a few days already, and I know some of you have seen them.  I also know there are some of you reading this that have not seen them, and the fish in this first one was ginormous–you gotta see it!

WOW!  What a fish, which I believe would have weighed over 100 pounds.  Obviously, the fish was not weighed, and honestly, getting any kind of an accurate weight on a fish that big while on the water would be challenging, if not impossible.  So, exactly how much did that fish weigh?  You be the judge.  I believe it would have been large enough to be a new Nebraska rod & reel state record.

Speaking of Nebraska, all I know about the location of that catch is that it was the Missouri River in Missouri.  Exactly where on the Missouri River and how close to Nebraska waters I have no idea.  But I do know that Blue Catfish of those mammoth proportions can be found in the Missouri River, even in Nebraska!

How about some mid-summer Nebraska Pike action?

I am not going to say where those Pike were caught, but it will not take much for many of you to figure it out.  If you need a hint, all the Pike caught there must be released.

As is the case with about everything you watch these days, there is some blatant promotion and advertising in those videos.  So what?  You really should check ’em out!

Wanna catch some fish, some big fish?  Sometimes you just have to get out there.  The only thing I know for certain about fishing is that you cannot catch anything sitting at home on the couch.  GO FISH!
