Toast Nebraska Wine Festival to Feature Local Bands, Unlimited Wine Samplings

LINCOLN – Guests to the third annual Toast Nebraska wine festival, set for May 6 and 7 at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park, can expect a variety of entertainment, along with unlimited wine and hard cider samplings.

Local bands, including Ro Hemple, Belles and Whistles, and the Bottle Tops, will be performing at the festival. There will also be a variety of food, and artisan and craft vendors. Wine education topics will include Wine Pinterest, Cheese and Wine Pairing, and Chocolate and Wine Pairing. In addition, there will be yoga and salsa, hip-hop, and line dancing lessons.

“We are so excited to announce this year’s line-up of entertainment for our guests,” said organizer Stacy Leners. “Toast Nebraska is truly the event for wine lovers and anyone seeking a relaxing afternoon this summer.”

More than 20 Nebraska wineries will be offering samplings at Toast Nebraska, attracting wine lovers from across the state. New this year is the option for transportation to and from Lincoln for the festival. Call Elite Party Buses at 402-480-4005 to reserve your spot before buses are full.
