The Worst Fishing Products

It is Friday before a holiday weekend; time to lighten up a bit. . . .

I have not posted anything about KVD lately, no not Kevin VanDam, the other KVD, Karl VonDibble.  The internet is full of lists, top 10 this, top 10 that. . . here is a good one from KVD:

For the record, I have seen some beard flies that were quite excellent (the fish do not care what they look like), and craw chaw really is as bad as it sounds.  By the way, do not bother calling for the “Mandolin Minnow”, I got the last kit.

One more product should be added to that list–beach ball bobbers.  Not even Jaws herself could take down bobbers the size that I see some folks using.

“He can’t go down with three barrels on him, not with three he can’t”–Quint, Jaws

NoBeachballBobbers

If you want to take advantage of the Mystery Tackle Box deal, do it!  That is a great way to become exposed to new baits and fishing presentations.  It is a good deal and it might just make you a better angler.

I am looking forward to this holiday weekend, a little extra time off, a chance to spend a little more time in Nebraska’s great outdoors!  We are on the threshold of fall, the fishing is picking up and hunting seasons are open–so little time and so much to do!  Make sure to take advantage of it!

Have a great weekend, everyone. GBR!
