Repaving Has Begun at Indian Cave State Park

LINCOLN – The repaving of roads within Indian Cave State Park has begun. The roads to the boat ramp and cave are temporarily closed for repaving. All other areas of the park, including the campgrounds, are open.

All of the roads, parking areas and campgrounds within the park will be repaved this year. Construction will take place in phases so that guests will still be able to visit and enjoy this popular state park. Park management will work closely with the paving contractors to try and keep at least one campground accessible during the repaving project.

For updates on the status of roads within the park, email ngpc.indian.cave@nebraska.gov or call the park office at 402-883-2575. For information regarding other camping opportunities in southeast Nebraska, visit OutdoorNebraska.org or contact the reservations staff at 402-471-1414.

A park entry permit is required of each vehicle entering the park.
