LINCOLN – The application period for the Super Tag and Combo multispecies big game lottery permits begins April 20.

A summary of the permits:

Super Tag – One permit will be issued to a Nebraska resident, and applicants may enter the lottery once a year for a $25 fee. One additional permit will be issued to a resident or nonresident, and applicants may enter the lottery multiple times at $10 an entry. The Super Tag permit is valid in 2015 and 2016 for one elk of either sex, one antelope of either sex, one deer of either sex and two turkeys (only toms and bearded hens may be harvested in the spring).

Combo – One permit will be issued to a Nebraska resident, and one permit will be issued to a nonresident. Residents and nonresidents may submit multiple $10 entries a year. This permit is valid in 2015 and 2016 for one antelope of either sex, one deer of either sex and two turkeys (only toms and bearded hens may be harvested in the spring).

Lottery permit winners require a Habitat Stamp. All application fees are nonrefundable. The lottery permits are valid in open seasons with appropriate weapons.

A regulation that states no person may have more than one bull elk permit in a lifetime does not apply to lottery and auction permits.
