Toast Nebraska Wine Festival Slated for May 1 and 2 at Mahoney State Park

LINCOLN — The second annual Toast Nebraska Wine Festival, highlighting wines from 19 Nebraska wineries from around the state, will once again be held at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park. This year’s event is scheduled for May 1 and 2.

Guests are invited to sample wines while also enjoying music, food and conversation against the beautiful backdrop of Mahoney State Park. The weekend will also include a live entertainment line-up, amateur wine-making competition, cigar lounge, unique food pairings, art and jewelry vendors, wine education sessions and trolley tours through the park.

Participating wineries include Cedar Hills Vineyard, Cellar 426 Wines & Vines, Deer Springs Winery, Feather River Vineyards, Glacial Till Vineyard, James Arthur Vineyards, Junto Wine, Mac’s Creek Winery & Vineyards, Miletta Vista Winery, Niobrara Valley Vineyards, Prairie Creek Vineyards, Rockin’ Rooster Winery, Schilling Bridge Winery, Silver Hills Vineyards and Winery, Soaring Wings Vineyard, Superior Estates Winery, Whiskey Run Creek Vineyards and Winery and WunderRosa Winery.

Tickets range from $25-$65. A portion of proceeds will go to support the mission of the Heartland Big Brothers and Big Sisters programs. A state park permit is required for each vehicle entering the park. More information is available at ToastNebraska.com.
