Have you ever been in one of those awkward social situations where you are among a group of people and you are supposed to mingle and talk, but you just really have nothing to talk about?
Here is my excuse. . . .
I saved this quote, I believe Matt Straw made it in some In-Fisherman article or on-line story. I do not remember where. But, I thought it was really good advice when you walk into a room and wonder who to talk to:
So when you happen to go into a bar and some guy is spouting stories about the numbers he racked up, look back in the corner for the man with a scruffy beard, his mouth shut, looking at bugs on the floor. . . . That is the guy you want to be talking to.
Or better yet, ditch the party and GO FISH!
