New Digs at 84th and Frederick

If you have not heard, your Nebraska Game and Parks’ Omaha office has a new home! The office has moved to 8495 Frederick St., located about a quarter of a mile north of Interstate 80 at the 84th Street Exit in the Frederick Square Plaza.

We are excited to be here in this new, bright, easily accessible space which is centrally located in the Omaha-metro area for you!

The new office also sits not far off of one of Nebraska’s most popular recreati0nal trails for hiking and biking — the  Big Papio Recreational Trail.

We offer the same services (purchasing permits/stamps, etc.) as always and will again be a deer check station for hunters this fall. We are planning an open house on a Saturday morning in either August or September.

A native of Gretna, NE, a graduate of Gretna High School and Bellevue University, Greg Wagner currently serves as the Communications and Marketing Specialist and Manager for the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission's Service Center in Omaha. On a weekly basis, Wagner can be heard on a number of radio stations, seen on local television in Omaha, and on social media channels, creatively conveying natural resource conservation messages as well as promoting outdoor activities and destinations in Nebraska. Wagner, whose career at Game and Parks began in 1979, walks, talks, lives, breathes and blogs about Nebraska’s outdoors.
