Come Join Us at Family Fishing Night in Papillion

You and your family are invited to come join us at our annual Game and Parks/WOWT 6 Sports Family Fishing Night at Lake Halleck in Papillion, NE this Thursday night, July 10th from 6 to 8 p.m. Find out how fun fishing is!

Lake Halleck is located just a quarter mile to the east of the intersection of Washington and Lincoln Streets in downtown Papillion. We at Game and Parks will be furnishing the fishing tackle and bait as well as fishing instruction.

Family fishing nights provide a wonderful opportunity for you and your family to explore and learn fishing or to sharpen those rusty fishing skills that you may have.

You’ll also get to see me broadcasting there LIVE there with my Weekly Outdoor Report just after 6 p.m. CST on Omaha’s WOWT 6 News during the sportscast with Ross Jernstrom.

Following the broadcast I’ll be taking to the shoreline to offer any assistance you might need in wetting a line, or swimming, HA!

Don’t forget that you’ll need a NE fishing permit if you’re 16 and older, which also can be purchased on your mobile device here. Hope to see you and your family at Lake Halleck in Papillion Thursday night!
