I will always tell you that I do not force what I do (as an avid outdoor enthusiast or as a conservation professional) on my kids but I have introduced them, continued to take them, and to this day, bug them to death about going with me (The Old Man) to enjoy time in Nebraska’s great outdoors. I especially bug them to go fishing and have been successful over the years! All of my kids love to wet lines and catch a variety of fish. Here are some past photos of them waterside on this Throwback Thursday.
Also, on this Throwback Thursday, I give you a past to present look from an angling perspective at our youngest son, Noah.
The bottom line here with this post (hold your ears, I’m gonna shout): TAKE YOUR KIDS FISHING SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO FISH AROUND FOR YOUR KIDS! MAKE THOSE MEMORIES AND HOOK ‘EM ON FISHING FOR LIFE!
I give credit to my wife Polly who has served as a fishing inspiration and memory-maker as well. An early “Happy Mother’s Day” to you – Polly!
