LINCOLN, Neb. – Run wild and enjoy the scenic backwoods of Eugene T. Mahoney State Park on June 1 to support the Nebraska Wildlife Conservation Fund. Sign up for Run Wild, a 10-kilometer trail run in a wild animal costume.

Visit www.RunWildNe.org to register. Registration fees are $40 through May 17 (extended from May 9) and $45 through May 24. The fees include a T-shirt and park entry for the day of the race. Entries are limited.
There also will be a 1-mile youth run. The youth registration also includes the book, “Have You Seen Mary” and pool passes.
Run Wild is part of Trails and Tails Family Day at the park. There will be archery shooting, a fishing clinic, wildlife education activities and a drawing for half-price youth lifetime hunting or fishing permits from 9 a.m. to noon.
