Kyle Smith Joins Osage WMA as Fish and Wildlife Biologist

Kyle Smith was hired as a Fish & Wildlife Biologist I at the Osage Wildlife Management Area shop near Tecumseh. He will be assisting Mike Remund taking care of WMA’s in the SE along with depredation & nuisance animal response. Among other duties, he will conduct many important wildlife surveys in that part of the state that help Game and Parks track populations.

Smith is originally from Blair & earned his bachelor’s from the University of Nebraska- Kearney.  Smith has worked for the Wildlife Division’s Management Section at Clear Creek and Meridian WMA’s. He also spent time assisting the waterfowl program manager.
