More Invasive Species News You Should Know About

Once again on the invasive species front, there has been a bill introduced in the Nebraska state legislature that relates to our state’s handling of aquatic invasive species.  If you wish you can read it here,

I cannot tell you what you should think about this bill, for or against.  But, I will remind you that we live in a country where you can freely participate in the political process and here is an opportunity!  A hearing for LB63 has been set for Thursday, March 14, 2013, 1:30 pm, in Hearing Room 1524 at the State Capitol in Lincoln.  You can show up for the hearing, and testify if you wish.  If you do, that testimony will be heard and will make a difference.  If you cannot make it in person, a letter would certainly carry some weight as well; here is where you should send it:
